Funding and costs

  • Funding
  • TIGP offers rigorous, interdisciplinary education at affordable prices. Once admitted, each TIGP student will receive a monthly stipend of NT$34,000 (around USD$1,133) for the first year. For students who perform well, this stipend will be extended for a further 2 to 3 years based on our stipend regulation. Post the stipend allowance period, further financial support is dependent upon individual thesis advisor.

  • Costs
  • Tuition fee

The tuition fee is different by the campus you enrolled. The exact fee for each semester is determined by the universities.

    Medical Insurance

Six months after receiving an Alien Resident Certificate (ARC), students will be qualified to enroll in Taiwan’s National Health Insurance Program. The expected payment is about NT$749 (US$25) per month. The medical insurance will cover the same medical coverage as all Taiwan citizens.
