Field-EPSPs/Patch-clamp/Calcium imaging recording Service
- Prior to initiating your application, please reach out to thefacility manager to discuss the details about your experiment.
- After verifying the accuracy of the experimental content and items, you can schedule an appointment for your experiment.
- One session of brain slice samples are processed on a daily basis. In contrast, cell line samples can be reserved by a half-day basis.
- Half-day: AM 08:30~PM 12:00 or PM 1:00~PM 5:30
- Full-day: AM 08:30~PM 5:30 (no fee for 1-hour lunch break)
- Equipment usage is billed on an hourly basis, ranging from 3 to 8 hours each session. Individuals are limited to a maximum of 8 reservations.
- Microtomes, scalpels, bone scissors, and some equipment for sample preparation are provided. Should you have specific splicing requirements, please discuss with us.
- In case for cancellation, please notify the staff at lease 3 days before your booking date. Cancellations within 3 days will be treated as “temporary cancellations”. The date calculation is based on working days, excluding holidays and weekends. For whom has more than three temporary cancellations within six months, the application will be suspended for three months.
Confocal Microscopy Service
- For first-time reservation, kindly sign up or reach out to the equipment manager to make reservation arrangements.
- Operating hours are from 8:00AM to 6:00 PM. Special approval from the manager is necessary for access during evenings or weekends.
- Users will have their reservation account after passing the assessment. They can then proceed to make reservations through the online system.
- Online reservation become available every Monday at 12PM for the following week, with four hours limitation per user. Same-day reservation can only be utilized at lease 3 hours in advance.
- Reservation for slots in the following week are fully available every Wednesday. In the event of being unable to attend after making a reservation, kindly cancel online in advance. Same-day cancellations are not permitted. If you tend to use the facility during evenings or weekeds, ensure prior approval.
- Equipment usage is billed on an hourly basis by the record usage hours. In the event that you are unable to attend and fail to cancel in advance, charges will be incurred for the reserved time.
